Silves’ archaeology museum will celebrate its 29th anniversary on Tuesday, September 3 by opening its doors to everyone free of charge.
It is located in the heart of the town and boasts a series of exhibitions which highlight the town’s rich history.
One of the highlights is the well-preserved Moorish well, set right in the centre of the museum, which is open from 10am to 6pm.
