The Family Medical Centre (FMC) in Vale do Lobo is hosting an open evening to launch the new fat reducing treatment, Coolsculpting, on Wednesday, October 9 at the FMC in Vale do Lobo, from 6pm to 8pm.
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive technique for the reduction of localised fat.
Explaining the treatment, the FMC said: “When we diet and lose weight, our fat cells shrink but their number doesn’t alter. Cool Sculpting involves precise and controlled reduction of temperature to the desired area. Fat cells are frozen, destroyed and, with time, eliminated from the body naturally, never to return. In fact, Cryolipolisis can reduce the number of fat cells in the targeted area by 20 to 27% each session.
“Coolsculpting was designed for people with unwanted fat in specific areas. We can treat obvious fatty areas in multiple locations around the body: abdomen, flanks, double chin, inner and outer thigh, back of arm, above the knee, the fat that protrudes around the bra, and below the buttocks.
“Together we can identify your specific areas of concern and create a personalised, targeted treatment plan to help you achieve the body contour you aspire to.”
The open evening will include an introduction to the treatment and welcome drinks. Those who book a session on the day will benefit from a 10% discount.
