Lidl recalls espresso coffee machines due to “risk of electric shocks”

German supermarket chain Lidl is recalling a series of espresso coffee machines of its ‘Silvercrest’ brand which were sold in Portugal during June and July this year.

As Lidl explains, the machine poses a “risk of electric shocks” due to a general defect, which is why those who bought it are being asked to “not use it and urgently return it”.

Customers will be reimbursed after returning the machine at any Lidl supermarket.

The machine’s International Article Number (IAN) is 313486.
