Lagoa council has announced that it is carrying out a series of improvements to the town’s three coastal walking trails: Caminhos dos Promontórios, Caminho do Algar Seco and 7 Vales Suspensos.
The works aim to make the trails safer for hikers, says the council. They include the construction of stairs and boardwalks, wooden bridges, barriers and lookouts.
