In a bid to be “even more eco-friendly”, Loulé is replacing its traditional free dog poop bags with biodegradable bags.
In a statement to the press, the local council says that this is also a way of preparing for the new European law which will come into effect in 2021 prohibiting the sale of plastic products that can only be used once.
