A 23-year-old woman was injured after her car crashed into a horse on the EN125 road between Portimão and Lagoa on Wednesday morning (November 20).
The horse died while the woman was taken to Portimão Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident caused long queues as authorities had to restrict traffic while they waited for municipal services to collect the carcass.
