A 54-year-old man died and three people were injured in a head-on crash involving two vehicles in Portimão on Sunday (December 15).
According to Faro’s rescue operations command (CDOS), the accident occurred at around 7.30pm on a stretch of the old EN125 in the Penina area.
The circumstances of the crash are still being investigated.
The three people who were injured – one of whom was underage – were taken to Portimão Hospital although their injuries were not considered worrying.
