Faro Airport is seeking candidates for job vacancies, with a recruitment event due to take place in Faro next week.
Organised by recruitment company Multitempo, the event will be held on Tuesday (January 14) at the Faro headquarters of the National Young Entrepreneurs Association (ANJE) from 11am to 4.30pm.
The airport is in need of staff for its information and check-in desks as well as its disabled passenger assistance services. Baggage handlers are also needed.
There will be vacancies for part-time and full-time jobs. Speaking English is required in order to “help the many thousands of passengers of many nationalities who fly to and from the airport on a daily basis”.
The recruitment event will be the first of three to be held in Portugal by Multitempo, with the other two due to take place in Lisbon on January 22 and in Porto on February 3.
Last year’s recruitment campaign attracted thousands of applicants and helped fill 270 vacancies at the country’s airports, with the goal being to “top” the number this year.
