A 46-year-old British man has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash on the EN125 in Portimão on Monday. The accident happened at around 5.22am at the Penina roundabout.
Reports Correio da Manhã tabloid, it is believed the man did not see the roundabout which caused him to “violently crash” into its traffic signs. Authorities were called but the man’s injuries were too severe.
This was the first fatal road accident in the Algarve in 2020.
