Vila Real de Santo António and Alcoutim councils are distributing free face masks among local residents.
In VRSA, one reusable mask is being provided to each citizen. To pick it up, locals need only present their identification at their local parish council.
The process is similar in Alcoutim, where one mask is being offered per citizen. They can be picked up at local parish councils, although they will be delivered door-to-door in some rural areas.
