A couple was arrested by GNR police on Monday (July 28) after being caught red-handed trying to use the bank cards they had just stolen at Armação de Pêra beach.
Says the police force, the couple (a man, 27, and a woman, 24) are believed to be behind a string of thefts at the beach.
Apart from the bank cards, agents also seized nine mobile phones, seven pairs of glasses, two portable speakers, a watch, three electronic hotel key cards and several items of clothing and shoes.
