Eight bales of hashish, weighing around 280 kilos, were found adrift off the coast of the Algarve on Tuesday.
The drugs were detected by the crew of the Tridente submarine around 46 kilometres south of Olhão.
The bales were recovered by the submarine’s crew and taken to shore by maritime police, who delivered them to PJ police at Faro port.
