Loulé Council has announced it will support 33 local charities, known in Portuguese as ‘instituições de solidariedade social’ (or IPSS), this year to the tune of nearly €1.2 million.
“We are very proud of this support because we know it is an important way of reaching the people who need help. Few municipalities finance their social support network like Loulé,” said Loulé Mayor Vítor Aleixo.
