Teachers still missing for 60,000 pupils: government launches new formula

With teachers still missing for around 60,000 pupils due to return to school next week, the government has launched a new formula allowing teachers to candidate for disciplines that they are not specialised in, but for which they have high credits. This way, for example, a vacancy for a Maths’ teacher could go to a candidate with basic teacher training but with 80 credits in maths.
