Authorities in Madeira are searching for a 52-year-old British man who has ‘gone missing’ while on one of Madeira’s famous walking trails. According to early reports, the man has been missing since yesterday afternoon, from the area of Fajã, in the Arco de Calheta. His absence was reported by his wife. Madeira has recently had a dismal track record of foreign hikers who go missing.
