Just in the last week the price of a typical hamper of food has increased by almost 3% (or by €5.5), reports DECO/ Proteste. Products that have increased the most are fresh white fish, mackerel, perch and razorfish (peixe espada) – all being fish habitually eaten by Portuguese families.
