Portimão Council has announced that the new CCTV video surveillance system that has been set up at Praia da Rocha is also equipped with Wi-Fi antennas, providing free Wi-Fi to everyone nearby.
This includes the popular Avenida Tomás Cabreira, where many of Praia da Rocha’s main bars and nightclubs are located.
The council adds that it is already working on extending the free Wi-Fi to the beach boardwalk.
