The firefighters’ league (Liga dos Bombeiros Portugueses) has sealed an agreement with the Ministry of Interior Administration for wage rises this year in the order of 5.1%. Daily rates for firefighters are all increasing, along with the money paid for meals and other subsidies. Say reports, the result means that regular firefighters will receive €63 per day (as opposed to the €60 received in 2022).
