Chinese restaurant employee stabbed to death in Grândola

A Chinese man, aged around 50, was stabbed to death in Grândola early on Sunday morning. According to Correio da Manhã, he was stabbed by his boss, “also Chinese” and of a similar age, who has been arrested and taken into PJ police custody. The victim was reportedly “in a very serious condition” when authorities arrived at the scene, being pronounced dead later in hospital. The attack appears to have been provoked by a ‘labour dispute’, say reports. Since going online this story has changed, in as much as the dead man was the boss, not the employee; the arrested man the employee who had apparently been ‘waiting for the boss to turn up in the morning’ to launch the attack.
