PM António Costa is in Iceland today, ahead of tomorrow’s Council of Europe, to learn about the country’s geothermal experience. Secretary of state for energy Ana Fontoura Gouveia suggests the trip will be something of a sharing of ideas as Iceland wants to expand its windpower production – and this could constitute an opportunity for companies from Portugal, where the use of windpower is already widespread.
