President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and his counterpart from Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, are to meet on Tuesday at the presidential palace in Belém, Lisbon to discuss “issues (on the) bilateral agenda” and international developments. According to a note published on the website of de Sousa’s office, the president of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria will be in Portugal on a state visit on Tuesday and Wednesday, at the invitation of Portugal’s head of state.
