President Marcelo will be starting the week on a two-day official visit to Poland, for a meeting with President Andrzej Duda and the Portuguese community living in Poland. As he explained earlier this summer, “Poland has a very important role situated geographically as it is at a very sensitive point”. It is widely expected that Portugal’s Head of State will use this trip to make a visit to neighbouring Ukraine.
