PJ judicial police have announced the apprehension of more than four tons of cocaine, hidden in boxes of bananas in a warehouse in Lisbon. Operation Âncora has not resulted in any arrests on national soil. The cocaine originated in Equador, arriving here by sea. It was due to have been transported, still disguised among packaging of bananas, to other European destinations. The PJ has been working with other police forces on this investigation for some months.
