The Chapel in Carvoeiro – Nossa Senhora da Encarnação – will hold two Masses said in English, this Christmas.
The Third Sunday of Advent on Sunday, December 17, at 4pm, and Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, at 6pm.
The celebrant will be Padre Nuno Coelho, our parish priest. Padre Nuno is going the extra mile to serve the international community through these Masses in English. His commitment to making sure the Algarve has at least one mass in English at the high holidays is greatly appreciated. It must be said that Padre Nuno also adapts his mass to include any French speakers present.
So, if you are looking for a meaningful celebration of your Catholic faith, in English/French, at this festive time, please join us. Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church. We will sing traditional Christmas carols!
There will be a retiring collection for the Lagoa Food Bank. We have over 100 families in need at this time. Please give generously.
These masses will be in addition to the chapel’s usual Saturday evening masses at 5.30pm (in Portuguese).
