So far there is no contagion reported from a non-resident unvaccinated child who contracted the virus in UK, say reports. The 20-month-old baby is currently in hospital, under observation, and expected to be discharged within the next few days. Health minister Manuel Pizarro has said that fortunately “Portuguese are the Europeans who maintain firm in their trust in vaccines. We have very high levels of vaccination in children”.
