Tourism boss confident 2024 won’t be affected by ‘impact of international conflicts’

Carlos Abade, president of Turismo de Portugal, has said today that he does not expect a negative impact on the sector associated with international conflicts that have filled the news columns in recent months. After ‘record numbers’ of tourists in 2023, Abade is confident that Portugal will simply build on its success. He was talking to journalists at FITUR, the international tourism fair of Madrid – considered the world’s largest tourism fair.
