PSP Faro suspends shooting drills as agents fail in new suspected form of protest

PSP police in Faro have suspended all shooting drills indefinitely due to the abnormally high number of officers failing.

As a PSP source has admitted to Lusa news agency, the failed drills are being interpreted as a new form of protest against the government for not granting the police force the same ‘risk subsidy’ as PJ police.

Last week, 22 out of 24 agents failed the drills.
