A 53-year-old Faro resident has been banned from entering sports venues for racial slurs directed at Famalicão footballer Chiquinho during a match against Farense in Faro on Saturday.
The announcement was made by the Authority for the Prevention and Fight Against Violence in Sports (APCVD) after the man was identified by PSP police and named an official suspect (arguido).
The match was suspended for four minutes after Chiquinho complained to referee Hélder Malheiro.
