US tech giant Microsoft has announced plans for an AI Innovation Factory in Alvalade, in partnership with Accenture, Avanade and Unicorn Factory Lisbon, with the declared aim of accelerating the adoption of its artificial intelligence solutions by companies “in different industries and sectors, and contribute to sustainable growth” in the country “through new digital innovation scenarios, accelerated by the connection to an ecosystem of startups and digital natives.” According to Microsoft, the new centre “will be integrated into the AI Hub at Unicorn Factory, in Alvalade, and is scheduled to open in November 2024.”
