PS leader returns to calling centre right opposition “a mess”

PS leader Pedro Nuno Santos has returned to insulting the principal opposition in elections due in just over two weeks’ time, confirming commentators’ predictions that the final leg of the ‘race to the ballot box’ will indeed be marked by increasing “verbal aggression”. What this serves, minority parties are already querying: IL (Iniciativa Liberal) considered today that : “Pedro Nuno Santos has no legitimacy” in his statements, as it is precisely his PS Socialist party that is “responsible for the state of the country, responsible for the mess that has been visible to all within the government that is terminating its functions”. What Pedro Nuno Santos really needs, says IL’s leader Rui Rocha, is “an examination of his conscience”.
