Special deals announced to celebrate Bolt Food’s expansion to Algarve
Bolt Food has expanded to the Algarve, offering food delivery services in Portimão, Albufeira, Vilamoura, Quarteira, Loulé, Faro, and Olhão.
Aiming to compete with similar existing services such as Uber Eats and Glovo, Bolt Food will be working together with big fast food chains such as Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut as well as smaller local restaurants and eateries.
To celebrate its arrival in the region, Bolt Food is offering clients a 40% discount on their first two orders and an exemption of delivery fees for the next few months.
“Sooner or later Bolt Food’s presence in the Algarve would become mandatory. This is not just an area with very tempting sweets and pastries, but it is also a destination typically popular for holidays, a time when all help is welcome to make days more practical (…),” said Manuel Castel-Branco, Bolt’s Country Manager.
The Bolt Food app was created in August 2019 and is available for Android and iOS systems. It arrived in Portugal in October 2020 and currently works with over 800 restaurants across the country.
