Algarve rugby club to face international opposition

Rugby club continues to welcome new players

The Algarve University Rugby Club (CRUAL) will play two matches against international teams at the Browns Sport Resort in Vilamoura very soon.

The club’s under-14 team will take on Lanley Rugby Football Club from Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, March 23, while its under-15 team will face Garryowen Rugby Football Club from Limerick, Ireland on Friday, April 5.

CRUAL welcomes boys and girls who haven’t yet tried rugby to take part in one of its training sessions in Faro or Lagoa, where they will be able to “learn the skills of rugby, make new friends and have fun.” Parents are also encouraged to come along and join the club’s training team in Lagoa.

Training sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm in Faro and on Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in Lagoa.

For further information, contact Ricardo Rafael for Faro (+351 965 519 309) or Dave Alger for Lagoa (+351 962 315 256). You can also learn more by reading our recent article about the club.
