A young Portuguese woman, her Brazilian husband and their two young children are all dead following a hideous event in San Francisco, USA, last Saturday which saw an elderly woman driver career down the road at what witnesses believe was around 100 km/h, in the wrong direction, before ploughing into the group as they waited at a bus stop. The husband and eldest child died at the scene. Matilde Ramos Pinto – a film producer – died in the ambulance on the way to hospital, and the surviving child, a two month old baby, died this week from his injuries. The 78-year-old driver has been arrested and faces prosecution for murder.
