PJ police are investigating the discovery of the body of a man, apparently in his 60s, in a water-filled ditch in Vale da Amoreira, Moita. The alert was raised at 7.40pm on Saturday. The body was submersed in the water, which had gathered from recent rains. The area is one of orchards/ agriculture. For now, even without an identification, crime is not suspected.
