London-born artist vows to take visitors on a “meditative journey through human emotions”
The Gama Rama art gallery in Faro will welcome the inauguration of “Heart Full”, a new exhibition by London-born artist Halina Magdalena Ekberg, on Friday, April 19 at 5pm.
The exhibition is described as an “exploration of Halina Eckberg’s emotional landscapes,” according to a press release sent out to newsrooms by the art gallery.
“In this exhibition, divided into three parts – “All Heart,” “Road Maps,” and “Extracts from Nature” – the artist takes us on a meditative journey through human emotions, the complexities of life, and the beauty of nature,” the statement says.
“In the “All Heart” section, we delve into the symbolism of the heart, exploring its personal journey of growth and self-awareness. In “Road Maps,” we travel through intricate human emotions, while in “Extracts from Nature,” we are invited to reconnect with the natural beauty which we are also a part of. “Heart Full” is a profound meditation on the interconnectedness of all things, inviting us to explore the depths of our own humanity and embrace the beauty that surrounds us,” it adds.
The exhibition will remain on display at Gama Rama, located at no.13 on Rua do Prior, until July 6 and can be visited during the gallery’s opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 5pm.
