A 26-year-old British man is in serious condition after being run over on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, Albufeira’s main avenue, shortly after 5am this Tuesday morning.
The victim was taken to Faro Hospital, an Algarve civil protection source has confirmed.
GNR police, INEM emergency services and Albufeira’s volunteer firefighters were all called to the scene.
