The Mustang Club Algarve is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic car with a tour of the city followed by lunch on April 20.

The Mustang Club Algarve is arranging a gathering in Faro to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, which had its first model sold in April 1964.

The celebration will begin in Faro, where club members and other participants will gather at the Sulpeças Faro store for an exciting city tour. The highlight of the meeting will be a lunch at a restaurant (TBC) where participants will share stories and experiences with their beloved Mustangs.

The event is organised in partnership with the Sulpeças Faro store, where a 1969 Mustang will be displayed. Other past models will be displayed in the restaurant’s parking lot.

Those who love American cars, particularly the legendary Ford Mustang, are invited to participate in this unique meeting. “The event promises to bring together enthusiasts and admirers of this classic automobile for a day full of passion for cars”, says the organisation.

The Americancars Algarve Association, famous for arranging the yearly gathering of American cars in the area, is also responsible for planning this special event.

10h00 – Meeting at the Sulpeças Faro store
11h00 – Departure for a tour of the city of Faro
12h30 – Arrival at the restaurant (TBC)
13h30 – Lunch
