The largest international science communication festival will be held in the Algarve’s capital between May 13 and 15.
The Pint of Science Festival is coming to Faro on May 13, 14 and 15, highlighting human biology and neuroscience.
Created in the United Kingdom in 2012 and introduced in Portugal in 2018, the Pint of Science Festival aims to bring science closer to a broader audience in an informal and relaxed environment.
Marking the event’s 7th edition, Faro is on the agenda for the first time this year.
The Recreational and Cultural Association of Musicians (ARCM) and the Coral University Bar will host five sessions led by local scientists, during which neuroscience, astronomy, biology, botany, engineering, history, and othersciences will be discussed.
The complete event programme is available on the official website and social media (@pintofsciencept).
