Porto Bar Association officially expels brothers condemned over acid-bath murder

It has taken years, but Porto’s Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados) has officially expelled the ‘Bourbon brothers’, Pedro and Manuel – both serving maximum jail terms for this country (25 years) – for the acid-bath murder of a businessman in 2016. The brothers, both inscribed as lawyers, were condemned in 2017. It has taken all these years for their names to be removed from the list of accredited representatives of the law.
