Marking the start of the summer season, Carvoeiro’s most anticipated night of the year is back for its 10th edition on June 15.
Marking the beginning of summer, the 10th Edition of Carvoeiro’s Black & White Night will be hosted by the Municipality of Lagoa on June 15.
One of the largest free summer parties in the country, the event returns to the streets of the seaside town with its monochromatic theme. Between 20h30 and 03h00, revellers will be treated to a night full of music, entertainment and lots of fun.
The first edition of Carvoeiro’s Black & White Night event was timidly held in 2014 to help boost hotel occupancy in the municipality of Lagoa during the low season and enhance the tourist reputation of Carvoeiro and the municipality on a national and international scale.
After ten years, Carvoeiro’s Black & White Night is no longer just the biggest summer party in the Algarve; it has become one of Portugal’s biggest annual summer parties, attracting over 30,000 national and foreign visitors in a single night.
White and black are essential for partygoers and entertainers, cutting across various art forms, including dance, magic, cinema, and street performances, with a strong focus on music from diverse genres and backgrounds.
The event will feature various entertainment setups spread throughout Carvoeiro, including the beach and town square, which will be converted into a huge dance floor on which some of the biggest dance hits will be played.
As in recent editions, and to overcome the shortage of parking, Lagoa City Council will maintain a regular line of free buses that will connect Carvoeiro and the various parking lots planned in Lagoa: Fatacil, Intermarché, Apolónia, Aldi and o Gramital (land located in front of Aldi). Round-trip buses will run continuously from 18h00 to 04h00.
Entry is free!
