It is still unclear exactly what services will be affected by the public sector strike tomorrow, although parents are being warned to have plans in place in case their children’s school is closed.
Early today FENPROF (the federation of teachers) said it would be ‘adhering’ to the protest called by CGTP (the confederation of Portuguese trade unions).
The strike could further hamper court business/ health centres/ hospitals/ social services offices/ tax department services/ public registry/ notary offices and some public transports. CGTP has said it will be holding a protest outside the Ministry of Finance tomorrow afternoon.
