Tournament raises funds for deprived children in the Algarve
Ombria Golf Course, located in the heart of the Algarve, in Loulé, will host the ‘ACCA Charity Ombria Algarve Golf Tournament’ on Tuesday, June 18 – an initiative that brings together a passion for golf and a commitment to helping others, in this case children. The event is sure to provide a day of friendly competition and a unique opportunity to support those in need.
The golf tournament, organized in collaboration with the ACCA charity, aims to raise funds for deprived children in the Algarve region. All proceeds from the event will go to the “Famílias Aleixo” project, run by the António Aleixo Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting foster families and other initiatives vital to children’s development.
The event will kick off with a welcome coffee and registration at 7.30am, with the competition starting at 9am.
Players will enjoy a challenging 18-hole course, with an individual scoring system and net Stableford. The day concludes with lunch in the Clubhouse restaurant and the prize-giving ceremony at 3.30pm.
Designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, the Ombria Algarve Golf Course offers “a truly authentic golfing experience, where nature has been fully integrated into the playing experience to provide a diverse challenge and setting”.
