The Algarve Senior Bikers’ ride this month offered members the choice of riding from Tavira in the Eastern Algarve or Odiáxere in the West.
Both groups would eventually meet up for lunch at Restaurant O Folclore in Alte.
As well as a very enjoyable lunch, entertainment was provided by the resident comedian, Baltazar The Donkey.
Both groups enjoyed some of the best scenic views from the quiet roads through the hills of the Algarve on the way to Alte.
The lead riders on this occasion were Peter Kenyon from the east assisted by Huw Chivers, and David Shirley and Yves Breyer from the west with assistance provided by Steve Gallagher and Dave Loewy.
The next event on June 10 will be the ASB 14th Anniversary Charity BBQ with the residents of the Gaivota children’s home (Albufeira).
