Man stole €260,000 in money and jewellery
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and remanded in custody for breaking into several houses in the municipality of Albufeira.
GNR police say the man would break into homes “at night while people were inside, robbing money and jewellery” amounting to €260,000. He would then sell the items abroad.
The man has appeared before a judge at Portimão court and is being held at Silves prison.
