The platform of police unions representing PSP and GNR announced on Friday that it will present what it called a “final counter-proposal” for an increase in the risk supplement paid to the organisation’s members, to “give the government a chance” to resolve the issue “responsibly”.
Speaking to journalists early on Friday afternoon in Porto, on the sidelines of a meeting of the platform, which is made up of 11 PSP unions and GNR associations, its spokesman said that the figures in the last proposal from the minister of internal administration, which unions rejected on Tuesday, are not mere “crumbs” but “fall far short” of what their members want.
