On June 21, fourteen epicureans will enjoy an exclusive and exquisite dinner costing €1,300 per person.
The Algarve’s two Michelin star restaurant Ocean is hosting a “galactic” dinner on June 21. Costing €1,300 per person, the experience is only available to 14 guests, who will have the chance to enjoy a unique menu paired with wines from the “Wines From Another World” (WFAW) collection.
For the occasion, Austrian chef Hans Neuner will create a menu showcasing exclusive signature dishes designed to pair perfectly with a curated selection of 10 cosmic wines. The evening promises to offer a true “interstellar journey”, with the best wines in the Galaxy as the main protagonists.
“This experience is designed for members of the ‘Wines From Another World’ club, but it is not limited to them. It offers a special opportunity to access some of the best wines worldwide, such as the Portuguese Júpiter, the Spanish Uranus, and the German Saturn – the three renowned wines in this series. Additionally, there are others that are rare to find on the market,” stated Cláudio Martins, CEO of Martins Wine Advisor and mentor of the WFAW project.
The remaining seven wines on the menu will only be known and tasted by those attending the event and remain a secret. Martuns guarantees a “diverse range of renowned international wines”, capable of transporting guests to “different corners of the world” with each sip.
Throughout the experience, the 14 guests will also have the opportunity to interact with specialist sommeliers who will guide them through this “otherworldly” tasting.
