The family of missing 15-year-old Soraia Campanudo say they are desperate for answers, and fear their loved one may have fallen into the hands of sex traffickers. This far, it appears that the youngster left home of her own volition. She was ‘last seen’ getting on a bus to Lisbon, from Covilhã, and appears to have sent a note to relatives in Lisbon to say she is in the company of a young man who does not belong to the gypsy community (Soraia on the other hand does). For now, the youngster is considered a ‘missing child’. Her family stress they have “searched the whole of Portugal from the north to the south”. Soraia went missing five days ago.
