Statistics Institute INE concludes that the weight of expenses with habitation, including electricity and water, continues to increase in family budgets, having reached almost 40% for the period 2022/2023. Compared to exactly the same expenses in 2015/2016, this represents a nominal increase of 44.4%, largely due to the degree property and rents have risen in that short period.
