An explosion at the technology park of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon, in Caparica, Almada, Setúbal district, has caused one death today, according to a source for Civil Protection.The same source added that there was also a serious injury, “not directly related to the explosion”, indicating that the injured person “may have suffered a sudden illness”. The explosion was brought to the alert of authorities at 12.45pm.
