Zoomarine, Vilamoura Marina, EPIC Sana Algarve Hotel and Monchique Resort & Spa among Algarve winners of Publituris Travel Awards
Four businesses based in the Algarve have brought home accolades from the 2024 edition of the Publituris Travel Awards, held on Thursday (July 4) at Pestana Douro Riverside in Porto.
Guia theme park Zoomarine was named Portugal’s Best Theme and Amusement Park for the seventh time, while Vilamoura Marina added the title of Best Marina to its long list of accolades. Elsewhere in the Algarve, EPIC Sana Algarve Hotel in Albufeira was hailed Best Beach Hotel and Monchique Resort & Spa was crowned Best Resort Hotel.
Zoomarine has already celebrated the news, saying that the award recognises its “daily work” and the “success” of its mission.

Meanwhile, Vilamoura World, the master developer behind the marina, has described “winning this prestigious title one more time as an absolute honour”.
“Even more so this year, when our marina is celebrating its 50th anniversary. It confirms that we have the best marina in Portugal in Vilamoura, recognised by both a panel of judges specialised in tourism and the public itself and considering the excellence of our facilities and the services we offer,” says Isolete Correia, CEO of Vilamoura World.
Monchique Resort & Spa has also celebrated the recognition from the Publituris Travel Awards, attributing the merit “to everyone who works daily to make Monchique Resort better and better, to our guests, without whom nothing would make sense, and, of course, to all those who took up the challenge and voted online. Our work continues, and we hope to grow and improve even more.”
EPIC Sana Algarve Hotel has yet to publicly comment.
